Country Road House is located 25 minutes north of Charleston, WV and just 5 minutes off interstate 79-Exit 19.
Since opening in May of 2016 we have hosted hundreds of guests who are looking for a
stopping point on their journey through the country or guests looking for retreat to the country.
Here are a few comments left recently by three of our guests.
"For an authentic West Virginia experience you can't beat this place. A throwback to a different era that is unfortunately quickly disappearing. And the breakfast. Homemade, fresh, and incredibly delicious." Gene-Ohio
"Angela & John made us feel as if we were family they hadn't seen in years. From the moment we pulled up until we said goodbye they were incredibly gracious hosts. We were just there one night, but it was the perfect stopover before our last 4 1/2 hour drive home. The breakfast and coffee was delicious and it was so relaxing sitting on the porch swing with my fiance, having our coffee and watching this wonderful family work the strawberry fields. We'll definitely be back one day!" John-Virginia
"John and Angela's place is a special gem. We stayed one night passing through the area and were really sad we couldn't stay longer. Our small children actually cried. It was a perfect spot for anyone but especially for our young children. There were animals to see, a barn to explore, a play structure, a piano to play and land to run. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and it felt like we were home. The icing on the cake is the amazing hearty breakfast served when you awake. Wow. We just wanted to stay and eat all Angela's food. We will be back and will miss that secluded farm oasis till then." Kendra-North Carolina

Our Camp Site is now available and can be booked on Hipcamp. Folks who reserve the camp site

There are many places to pitch a tent or hang a hammock. We just ask that all fires be made in the designated fire ring area. Breakfast is not included with reservation but is available for purchase. We ask folks to plan to arrive before dark for this reservation. Pictures for the Camp Site can be seen on Hipcamp.
